Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and looking to grow within the food industry. Candidates with restaurant experience and a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary terminology
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Passion for the food industry with a commitment to quality service and continuous learning
