Glen Cougle & Sons Ldt. has been providing Fredericton and surrounding area for over 25 years in commercial, residential and under ground construction. We are looking to add 2 short haul, Local Dump Trailer Operators.

We are looking for experienced Dump Trailer Operators - floating equipment experienced is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time with up to 60 hours per week.

Experience:

class 1 with air-brakes : 5 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate tractor trailers safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Transport freight to designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
Heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading cargo.
Conduct minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.

Summary

As a Tractor Trailer (Dump) Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, your role involves loading and unloading cargo while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your core skills in commercial driving will be essential, along with premium skills in forklift operation and freight handling. Additionally, your relevant experience in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will enhance your effectiveness in this position. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
