Do you have a passion for operating heavy equipment? Juniper Organics is looking for a Front End Loader Operator to join our Operations team!

As a Front End Loader Operator, you’ll collaborate with our team to ensure the efficient operation of our facility, using your technical skills to produce high-quality peat moss products. What You’ll Do:

Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently in a plant environment
Load, move, and stock materials as required to support production and shipping activities
Supply production areas with the necessary materials to ensure continuous operations
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues of safety concerns
Maintain accurate inventory and material flow throughout the facility
Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe,
Follow all company safety procedures, policies and standards
Communicate effectively with supervision and team members to support daily operations

Schedule

Monday to Friday
2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage: $20.94/hour
Additional $0.58/hour upon successful training and competency in the role
4% vacation pay
Weekly hourly bonus averaging $1.00/hour
Opportunity to learn and train in other positions within the operation

Qualifications:

Education:
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum: 1 year of experience operating front end loaders.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills
