Summary:
The Landscape Technician III is responsible for a variety of job tasks (including physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects. This technician’s role as the supervisor’s right-hand, includes being responsible for the job sites when his supervisor is not present. Job responsibilities also include utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to carry out specified job duties.

Job Duties:
▪ Responsible for hardscape and softscape landscape construction
▪ Echo your supervisors message and maintain integrity on your work sites
▪ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to assist with landscape constructions
▪ Grade final level for interlocking process
▪ Responsible for last check on materials being used
▪ Use quick cut or table saws for intricate cuts
▪ If required communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
▪ Construct rock gardens, decks, fieldstone paths, stone garden walls, fences, ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls, retaining walls, and interlocking brick
▪ Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs
▪ Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
▪ Lay sod or seed; grading (soil); and tree staking
▪ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
▪ Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies and manual lifting
▪ Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments, shop + equipment
▪ Conduct daily safety inspections of tools and equipment
▪ Follow directions from foreman and delegate as required
▪ Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times and maintain a safe work site
▪ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
▪ Comply with all company policies and regulations
Work Conditions:
▪ Fast paced environment
▪ Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
▪ Working outdoors during a variety of seasonal weather
▪ Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work
Schedule:
▪ 8-hour shifts
▪ Available to be on rotation for Saturdays
▪ Irregular weather days (Heat, Rain, Cold) will not be worked
▪ Longer working days may be required to compensate for bad weather
Experience:
▪ Over three years of experience in landscaping
▪ Knowledgeable in hardscape materials and in the process of building a walkway/driveway
▪ Experience with the process of installing Natural stone
▪ ICPI training
Job Types: Seasonal, Full-time
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
