Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry and hospitality to contribute to a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen attention to cleanliness, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to guests. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position is integral to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and ensuring guests receive prompt and attentive service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Clear tables promptly, ensuring cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Assist servers with bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces
Handle food safely in accordance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures
Support kitchen staff by ensuring timely delivery of orders and assisting with basic food prep or setup when necessary
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing attentive and courteous service to all guests

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industries is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds
Team-oriented mindset with excellent customer service skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
