Full job description

We are currently looking for caring and passionate hospitality professionals to support our banquet facilities. Know all our banquet events are evening dinner based, this position will primary be for Friday & Saturdays. Know during the festive season 4 weeks from last week in November to 3rd week in December volume of events will allow for up to 4 shifts per week

This job and it's hourly rate is exclusive of gratuity. Know gratuity in this role can shift your gross wage rate between $27 to $32 an hour.

Kindly be aware in a majority of cases shifts are late! Remember, we are serving food and beverage so guest will typically and their events by 1 AM and in a lot of cases, we are resetting the facility for the next event the following day. These typical shifts are common on Friday and Saturday nights, and inclusive Sundays on long weekends. During the festive season we will require additonal shifts during weekdays.

Applicants should have their own transportation to and from NeXT as local public transportation will not meet the needs due to late shifts.

This is a perfect role, for candidates who are looking to supplement their existing income, inclusive of university or college students.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

- Smart serve certified.

- Be available for 2 to 3 shifts weekly.

- Be able bodied, this position requires you to stand and move actively.

- This role is open to Canadian citizens who reside within the Ottawa Region along with students who possess a visa that will allow them to work while studying here in Canada.

WHAT IS NeXT?

We are a 11,000 square foot facility located in west end of Ottawa, Stittsville, Ontario.

We offer the following services:

- Banquet & Event facility for up to 170 guests in up two 3 different rooms.

- 80 seat casual dining room featuring a sharing menu concept.

- Take home catering, via our casual dining room menu.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$32.00 per hour
