About Us

Leadbetter Foods is a proudly Canadian food company known for high-quality protein products. As we continue to grow our brand across retail and foodservice, we are looking for a motivated summer student to support our Sales, Marketing, and Events initiatives.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about marketing, branding, and customer engagement. You will support day-to-day marketing activities, assist with event execution, and work closely with the Sales team to help drive brand awareness and product visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content

Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Support influencer collaborations and campaign coordination
Help develop marketing materials (flyers, signage, in-store promotions)

Events & Brand Activation

Support planning and execution of events (e.g., trade shows, in-store demos, community events)
Represent Leadbetter Foods at events and engage with customers
Assist with event setup, takedown, and logistics coordination

Sales Support

Assist Sales team with product presentations, sample coordination, and follow-ups
Support promotional rollouts and product launches
Help track customer feedback and market insights

Administrative Support

Organize marketing inventory (samples, promotional materials, etc.)
Assist with general coordination between departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations)

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
Demonstrated interest or experience in sales and customer service roles
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Organized with attention to detail and good time management skills
Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset

This paid summer student position offers valuable industry experience while supporting your professional development. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to contribute their energy and ideas to our team.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
