The Role
As a Sonographer within our network, you will be the backbone of patient diagnostics. You will utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality imaging while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations (General, with opportunities for Cardiac and Vascular modalities depending on location).
- Collaborate with leading radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Provide compassionate patient care, educating patients on procedures to ensure comfort.
- Maintain meticulous records and adhere to provincial safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in diagnostic services.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for dedicated professionals who pride themselves on technical precision and interpersonal excellence.
- Credentialing: Active registration with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) is mandatory.
- Certification: Valid Sonography Canada credentials.
- Experience: Proven competence in general sonography; experience in vascular or cardiac imaging is a significant asset.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player.
- Professionalism: A commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
