About the Role
We’re growing again! Join our fantastic team at our Kirkland Lake clinic and play an important role in delivering an exceptional client experience. As a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant, you will support clients, healthcare providers, and the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service.
· Complete client check-in and related front-desk duties.
· Schedule appointments and help optimize provider schedules.
· Complete clinical intake documentation as required.
· Process direct billing to extended health benefits.
· Maintain and administer client charts and profiles.
· Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
· Coordinate providers’ caseloads and support efficient clinic flow.
· Promote clinic services and help clients understand available services.
· Support the effective day-to-day functioning of the clinic, including general office organization, cleanliness, and administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about providing excellent customer service in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
· A recognized medical office or general office administration program diploma, OR equivalent work experience.
· An energetic, positive, friendly, and outgoing approach.
· Experience with EMR software and a high level of computer proficiency is preferred.
· The ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to learn quickly.
· Adaptability and the ability to anticipate and respond to changing workflow demands.
· Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility.
· The ability to learn, collaborate, and work effectively as part of a team.
· Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
