We are looking for a Business Central Analyst to support and enhance our ERP environment while turning business data into meaningful insights. Based in Guelph, Ontario, this position combines Business Central administration, reporting development, and infrastructure oversight to help teams work more effectively. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to solving operational challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform by maintaining system performance, resolving issues, and supporting day-to-day reliability.
- Adjust application settings, workflows, and connected solutions to align the system with evolving business needs.
- Safeguard the accuracy, security, and consistency of ERP data by applying effective controls and monitoring practices.
- Gather and assess information from business systems and other data sources to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Build and refine Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, practical insights for stakeholders.
- Partner with business teams to define reporting priorities, establish useful metrics, and improve visibility into performance.
- Implement and enhance Power BI connections with Business Central to ensure reporting solutions are efficient and dependable.
- Provide guidance to users on reporting tools and analytics best practices so they can make better use of available data.
- Oversee core network and infrastructure activities, including system monitoring, backup management, and issue resolution across servers and related technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ERP, CRM, or business systems in an analytical or consulting capacity.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience developing business reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based environments and Microsoft Azure services.
- Familiarity with network and infrastructure administration, including servers, backups, storage, and performance monitoring.
- Understanding of business requirements documentation and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to define needs.
- Exposure to Cisco networking and related technologies is considered an asset.
