As a SYNC Test Engineer the candidate will be involved in full lifecycle of embedded software development on Ford SYNC system. Test engineers will be responsible for testing and validating the next generation application frameworks which are to provide various common services and APIs for the UI applications and services using various testing frameworks which will involve creating scripts and test apps using Python, C++, Java, Kotlin.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Python/C++/Java/Kotlin software testing experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms.

Experience with functional testing and testing frameworks.

Familiarity with Agile development processes.

5+ years of the aforementioned software testing experience.

Experience with multi-process, multi-tasking, or multi-threaded applications.

Knowledge of automotive product development and quality processes (e.g., A-SPICE, CMMI, FMEA).

Experience with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).

Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).

Experience generating test cases from requirements and automating tests using LLMs.

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team.
The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $89,000.00 to $139,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.
