Howitt Construction is a busy earthmoving company, based out of Red Deer, who specialize in road re-construction projects, new landfill and lagoon cells, and site preparation for residential/industrial and commercial developments.
We're looking for experienced local hoe & dozer operators for a road construction project near Sylvan Lake AB. Project start is approx July 1st.
Work Details
- 7am - 6pm,
- Long weekends off,
- Must have valid WHMIS ticket.
Excavator Scope of Work:
- Minimum 4 years of excavator experience,
- Production loading rock trucks, topsoil stripping,
- Working around other heavy equipment & ground personnel.
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.
Dozer Scope of Work:
- Minimum of 4 years experience,
- Stripping topsoil,
- Grading slopes,
- GPS experience an asset but not necessary,
- Must be able to work alone with limited supervision.
PPE Requirements
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat,
- Gloves.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
