Veterinary Receptionist – Armstrong Veterinary Clinic

Armstrong Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Receptionist to join our team! We are a busy, independently owned, well-established veterinary clinic that has proudly served the North Okanagan community for decades. About the Opportunity

This position is primarily focused on reception and client service. You will manage appointment scheduling, client communication, invoicing, and front-desk workflow, serving as the first and last impression of the clinic. Your role will be central to creating a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for both clients and patients.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a busy team. Previous veterinary reception or veterinary clinic experience is preferred, but we would also consider candidates with a veterinary background or strong professional reception experience.

This role extends beyond the front desk. You will help support daily clinic operations, assist with maintaining organization and cleanliness, support patient flow and room turnover, and work closely with the veterinary team to keep the hospital running smoothly.

About You

You'll be our front-desk superstar: handling appointments, chatting with clients, coordinating workflow, and helping keep busy days organized. You are professional, approachable, organized, and confident in your communication. You understand that exceptional client service is just as important as excellent patient care.

Veterinary experience is an asset, but professionalism, reliability, kindness, and a strong work ethic matter most.
