Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Used Car Sales Executive to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the automotive industry, excels at building customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, generating leads, following up with prospects, and helping achieve dealership sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in selecting the right pre-owned vehicle based on their needs and budget.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, website inquiries, social media messages, and walk-in customers.
Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives, highlighting features, benefits, and vehicle history.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business.
Negotiate vehicle pricing, trade-in values, financing options, and extended protection products.
Coordinate with the Finance & Insurance department to ensure a smooth delivery process.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of used vehicle inventory, market trends, and competitor pricing.
Create and manage online vehicle listings and assist with social media marketing when required.
Ensure sold vehicles are properly prepared and delivered with a professional handover.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, customer satisfaction goals, and dealership performance standards.
Keep accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and sales activities in the dealership management system.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service throughout the buying experience.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous automotive sales or retail sales experience is preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build long-term relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a commission-based sales environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and online communication platforms.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of financing, trade-ins, and vehicle appraisals is considered an asset.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is an asset but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00-$98,000.00 per year
