Assembler
MC3 Manufacturing Inc. – Leamington, ON – Pay based on experience
The role
Assembly is where the product comes together. Every fastener, every sequence, every torque spec matters – because what leaves this department goes to the customer. We’re looking for someone who understands that quality isn’t a final check; it’s part of every step.
You don’t need to walk in knowing everything. What matters is that you can follow instructions precisely, pay attention to detail, and take ownership of your work. We’ll train you on our processes and systems. The opportunity to grow from here is real.
What you’ll be doing
- Read and follow special assembly instructions and E-drawings before and throughout each build
- Identify and verify correct hardware from material lists – type, size, and grade
- Apply torque requirements to fasteners using a torque wrench to spec
- Drill and tap holes correctly – right bit size, depth, and alignment
- Follow assembly sequences in the correct order – no skipping steps
- Apply and verify match marks during disassembly and reassembly
- Locate kits and verify all materials before starting a job
- Perform quality and quantity checks before work moves downstream
- Complete the conveyor-specific checklist fully before signing off
- Keep your workstation clean and organized throughout the shift
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
What you bring
- A genuine willingness to learn and grow – this matters more than your work history
- Able to read and follow detailed written instructions and technical drawings
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely
- Detail-oriented – you catch your own mistakes and don’t pass problems downstream
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work
- Works well as part of a team and takes direction well
- Manufacturing or assembly experience is a bonus – not required
- Forklift and overhead crane awareness – training will be provided
What to expect when you start
You’ll go through structured on-the-job training covering both general shop orientation and assembly-specific tasks. Within 30 days, you’ll be working from material lists and assembly instructions independently. By 90 days, the expectation is that you can complete full builds – hardware, torque, sequence, and quality checks – on your own and consistently meet efficiency targets.
