The Go To Market Team at Halight Inc. is led by the Head of Growth and is dedicated to propelling the company’s growth by seamlessly integrating Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions, in 6 distinct Ways; Learn, Prospect, Sell, Onboard, Run, Renew. Our primary objective is to align these core areas with the company’s strategic goals to foster an exceptional customer experience.

Let’s Talk About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, the Business Development Specialist is a high-impact support role responsible for both strategic sales initiatives and day-to-day administrative execution. This is a hybrid role that blends business development activities with sales enablement and support activities — ideal for someone who thrives on being organized, proactive, and people-focused, while aiming to grow a career in Growth and Sales.
You’ll help drive pipeline growth, identifiy new customers, support in person events and coordinate sales activitires, and ensure the Sales and Growth Teams are operating at full capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales, Marketing & AI Enablement
· Assist in lead generation, research, and qualification using CRM and marketing tools
· Manage outreach campaigns and follow up on marketing-generated leads via the Head of Growth
· Launch, Manage, Optimize and Analyze a Team of AI Sales Agents
· Track KPIs and Document Sales Activities via Video, Audio or Written Sales Events, and Activities to Support Sales
Administrative Duties
· Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal/external appointments
· Book and manage travel logistics for business development events and meetings
· Prepare presentations, agendas, recap notes, and follow-up documentation
· Act as a gatekeeper and first point of contact for routine inquiries and scheduling requests
· Ensure documentation, files, and task lists for the Go To Market Team are up to Date
Event & Partnership Coordination
· Support planning and execution of trade shows, customer dinners, and conferences
· Help with booth setup, event scheduling, and pre/post-event communication
· Attend select events as needed to support relationship-building and lead follow-up
Success Metrics
· Contribution to pipeline velocity and brand visibility
· Increased efficiency for Go To Market Team
· High-quality execution of scheduling, travel, and event support
· Improved lead conversion through timely follow-up and CRM hygiene
Qualifications
Education and Experience
· Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
· 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, marketing, or executive assistant/administrative role
· Experience supporting a sales or leadership executive is considered a strong asset
· Previous exposure to SaaS, retail, or agency environments is a bonus
Skills & Competencies
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, logistics, and multiple priorities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
· Self-starter with a high level of initiative, responsiveness, and attention to detail
· Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred or similar), Microsoft Office, and project management tools
· Ability to travel occasionally for events, meetings, or onsite support
· Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
