Full job description

We are currently seeking a Commercial Administrator to support the administrative operations of a growing department. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, supporting internal team members, and assisting with customer-related processes.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities while contributing to an efficient and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Answering, directing and resolving phone calls / emails to the Commercial team

- Booking service appointment dates with customers via phone / email
- General data entry and document management assignments
- Provide support throughout invoicing process

- Assist in Customer Portal management and submissions

- Collaborate with the Coordinators / Technicians to ensure operation efficiency

- Collaborate with other departments on shared administrative tasks as required

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to answer 30-40 email/phone call inbound/outbound requests in a day
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Enjoy working in a small team environment
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent organizational skills

- A high level of attention to detail

- Ability to self-manage daily tasks

Experience:

Administrative Role: 2 years minimum (required)
Service Coordination: 1 year (asset)
Experience with document submission in portals such as Ariba, Corrigo, Oracle, etc. considered an asset
Formal educational training in an administrative role considered an asset
Experience working in Construction Service Industry considered an asset
Language:
English Fluently (required)

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday – 8AM to 4:30PM

Education:

Secondary School (required)
Post-secondary diploma or degree (asset)

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
