Full job description

Sweet Grass is a leading oat processing facility dedicated to providing high-quality products to our customers. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our team and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the processing, packaging, and handling of oat products.
Operate and maintain machinery according to safety protocols.
Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
Scale in/out trucks after office hours
Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Support other team members as needed to meet production targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is an asset but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift certification is an asset but not required
Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
