Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments and supporting overall accounting operations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, with an emphasis on data entry, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial documentation.

Duties

Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders using accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices while adhering to company policies and deadlines
Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy of payments and outstanding balances
Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit purposes
Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations
Input data accurately into HRIS systems like ADP, UltiPro, Ceridian, or Kronos for payroll and human resources management
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or payment issues
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and general ledger entries
Conduct analysis of accounts payable data to identify trends or discrepancies for management review

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, or similar platforms
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with account reconciliation and bookkeeping practices
Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and human resources systems (HRIS) including UltiPro or Ceridian
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
Familiarity with payroll processing systems like ADP or Kronos is a plus
Strong communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams in a professional manner
Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting software and procedures in a dynamic environment

This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our finance operations while developing expertise in various accounting systems and processes.

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
