Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are valued.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various tasks as needed
Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies when necessary

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Basic understanding of restaurant operations and meal preparation techniques
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills and knowledge

Pay: $18.50-$19.99 per hour
