Dynamic Kitchens is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher / Specialty Finisher to join our team. For over 50 years, Dynamic Kitchens has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and customer service. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to producing high-quality finished cabinetry.
This position plays a key role in our manufacturing process, ensuring all cabinetry components meet our exacting standards before leaving our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, sand, stain, seal, and topcoat wood cabinet doors and components.
- Prepare, sand, prime, and finish MDF doors and cabinetry components.
- Mix and prepare paints, stains, and finishing materials for spray and wipe applications.
- Operate and maintain spray finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret production drawings and specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with finishing preparation and workflow coordination within the department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of cabinet finishing or specialty finishing experience preferred.
- Experience finishing wood and MDF products in a cabinet manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with spray finishing systems, stains, paints, sealers, and topcoats.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn and improve.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a positive work environment.
