Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring a smooth flow of food service operations. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team by providing clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware, contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in restaurant operations, food handling, and hospitality practices.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas in accordance with health and safety standards
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workstations
Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely food delivery
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety compliance
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly
Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the establishment

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
Basic understanding of kitchen operations, cooking, or food preparation is a plus
Prior hospitality or serving experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
