Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role involves managing multi-line phone systems, performing data entry, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but we welcome candidates with relevant administrative experience eager to grow in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
Handle appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations efficiently
Maintain organized filing systems both physically and electronically
Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and processing paperwork
Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when necessary
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations

Experience

Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in medical or dental office settings
Familiarity with front desk procedures and multi-line phone systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic computer skills
Experience with data entry, filing, proofreading, and customer service roles highly desirable
Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills required
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 per hour
