About Quarterhorse
Quarterhorse Solutions is a custom fabrication company based in Cloverdale, BC. We build architectural millwork, feature walls, displays, signage, branded environments, and specialty fabrication projects for designers, architects, developers, and creative agencies.
Our work is varied, hands-on, and detail-focused. Some projects are highly custom, while others are more repeatable and process-driven, but all require strong craftsmanship, clear communication, and practical problem-solving.
The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joiner with CNC experience who can fabricate, assemble, and install custom millwork with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate is Red Seal certified or at least a 3rd-year Cabinet Maker / Joiner apprentice. You should be comfortable reading shop drawings, working with a range of materials, operating CNC equipment, and taking ownership of assigned work on the shop floor.
This is not an entry-level assistant role. You’ll be expected to contribute as a capable fabricator while continuing to develop your CNC, material, and build-planning skills.
As Quarterhorse’s work includes a broad range of projects, the successful candidate should be comfortable working beyond traditional millwork when the project requires it.
This may include cutting and preparing sign components, assembling signage, working with acrylics, alupanel, printed graphics, vinyl, and other mixed materials, and supporting the fabrication of displays, feature walls, and branded elements.
Signage experience is an asset, but the main requirement is a strong fabricator who can work accurately from drawings, adapt to different materials and build types, and take ownership of assigned work with minimal supervision.

- Participate in local installations and help solve practical issues on site
- Manage assigned tasks independently and meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Communicate clearly with production, design, CNC, and installation team members
- Help identify better ways to build, assemble, or install custom work
