Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $118,611, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.

Job Summary:
Humanities Teacher, Grades 7-9
1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 9, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to October 13, 2026, or return of the incumbent.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Intermediate level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Humanities. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Core French.
This position is scheduled to include 2 blocks of French 7, 2 blocks of French 8, 1 block of French 9 and 2 blocks of English 8. Please note that all work will be on site.
Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
