We're looking for a skilled construction operator who wants to be a part of a small but growing company. Our work environment offers flexibility, support, and the opportunity to be involved in various construction projects.

This position involves operating heavy machinery and performing various labour tasks essential to our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy equipment operation, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Applicants must be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Operate construction machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Perform site preparation, excavation, and grading tasks as needed.
Assist with the assembly and installation of construction materials.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Operator or in a similar role.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
Proficient in operating various construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers).
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards.
A valid driver's license is required.
Heavy equipment operator, Common Core, DZ or AZ driver's license are assets.
