Job Summary

Bayside VLT Lounge is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused Bartender / Server to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to restaurant, lounge, banquet, and hotel guests while creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Alberta liquor regulations.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining area, and service stations.
Restock bar supplies, glassware, and inventory as needed.
Check guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
Assist with banquet and event service when required.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel staff to provide excellent guest service.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory counts.

Qualifications

Previous bartending and/or serving experience is preferred.
ProServe certification (required or willingness to obtain before starting).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
