Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the hospitality industry. Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where cleanliness and teamwork are valued.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items in compliance with safety standards
Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to facilitate smooth service operations
Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards within the kitchen environment
Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as food preparation, cooking, or serving is advantageous but not essential
