Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Tool Crib Attendant to join our team at our Meadowpine location. You will ensure accuracy in tool selection and measurement while maintaining organized records and a clean work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing and calibration, to meet operational needs and improve efficiency.
Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Stand for extended periods while performing daily tasks
- Read and interpret tooling orders and corresponding machine requirements
- Identify and differentiate various tooling types, including roughers (aluminum/steel), end mills, drills, reamers, carbide tools, benchmarks, TiAlN-coated tools, and saws
- Pull and prepare tools for each order; verify measurements and ensure proper machine compatibility
- Communicate with the Tooling Buyer, Calibration Technician, and department supervisors regarding tooling requirements and issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and tool sign-out documentation
- Measure tools precisely using a 6-inch vernier caliper
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, leadership-driven environment
- Train and support less experienced tool crib employees
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and surfaces at all times
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and waste reduction
- Confirm and enter orders using the Zoller Multivision software system
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
