Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art & Craft Teacher to inspire children through engaging artistic activities. This role involves guiding students in developing their artistic skills, fostering creativity, and providing a supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in arts and crafts, along with a nurturing attitude to encourage young learners’ growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate art and craft lessons that align with educational goals
Foster creativity and self-expression among students through various art projects
Supervise students during activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment
Assist students with techniques, tools, and materials used in arts and crafts
Incorporate educational themes into art activities to enhance learning experiences
Maintain a clean and organized classroom, including art supplies and materials
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and achievements

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching art to children
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners
Working knowledge of early childhood education principles
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative lesson plans
Basic cooking skills are a plus, especially for integrating culinary arts into lessons
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with students
