As the Claims Representative I, Auto, you will investigate, negotiate and settle service claims for the organization. You will contribute to the organization’s client service culture through professional interactions with clients and implementing innovative and client centric solutions.
- Providing exceptional client service to our customers as an industry leader in client engagement.
- Reviewing policy wordings, applying coverages, negotiating and settling service claims.
- Investigating and evaluating relevant information to quantify losses and identify opportunities for salvage and subrogation recoveries.
- Proactively communicating with clients and stakeholders for efficient, timely, and quality resolution of claims.
- You are committed to continuous improvement, in order to grow our business of the future and exceed client expectations.
- You execute critical thinking skills to identify problems and are accountable to finding proactive solutions.
- Your strong written and verbal communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.

- You have experience in insurance or a related client service focused field.
- You have a desire to grow your education by working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and Provincial Adjuster Licenses.
- Having a post-secondary education in insurance, risk management or a related discipline is an asset.
- Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required during peak periods and major events.
- You may provide support to clients who are experiencing a personal or financial loss. A high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.

Salary information
Expected salary range $50,280 to $83,800
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
