We are looking for motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Deep Cleaners who take pride in transforming residential, commercial, and institutional properties into clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
Whether preparing a home for a new tenant, restoring a property after renovations, or completing a specialized cleaning project, our team works together to exceed client expectations through professionalism, integrity, and quality workmanship.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager or Site Supervisor, the Deep Cleaner is responsible for performing professional cleaning services in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Successful candidates must be physically fit, reliable, customer-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Cleaning
- Perform detailed deep cleaning of residential and commercial properties
- Sweep, vacuum, mop and disinfect all floor surfaces
- Dust and sanitize furniture, fixtures and high-touch surfaces
- Clean kitchens, appliances, cupboards, countertops and backsplashes
- Clean bathrooms including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors and fixtures
- Empty garbage and recycling containers
- Restock washroom supplies when required
- Clean windows, mirrors and interior glass surfaces
- Remove cobwebs and dust from ceilings, vents and light fixtures
Floor Care
- Strip, seal, wax and polish hard surface floors
- Operate auto scrubbers, burnishers and floor polishers
- Shampoo and steam clean carpets
- Spot clean carpet stains
- Maintain tile, vinyl, laminate and hardwood flooring
- Perform grout cleaning where required
Specialized Cleaning Services
Assist in professional cleaning services including:
- Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
- Post-Construction Cleaning
- Post-Renovation Cleaning
- Hoarding Cleanup
- Gross Filth Cleaning
- Fire & Smoke Damage Cleaning
- Flood & Water Damage Cleaning
- Odour Removal
- Biohazard and Trauma Scene Cleaning (training provided where applicable)
- Estate Property Cleaning
- Apartment Turnovers
- Commercial Deep Cleaning
- Warehouse and Industrial Cleaning
Exterior Property Maintenance
When assigned, employees may assist with:
- Sidewalk sweeping
- Pressure washing
- Garbage and debris removal
- Seasonal property cleanup
- Snow removal
- Ice control using approved de-icing materials
- Basic landscaping support
Equipment Operation
Safely operate:
- Commercial vacuum cleaners
- Auto scrubbers
- Floor polishers
- Carpet extractors
- Steam cleaners
- Pressure washers
- Wet/Dry vacuums
- Extension tools
- Ladders
- Hand tools
Clean, inspect and properly store all equipment after use.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow WHMIS regulations
- Properly handle chemicals and cleaning products
- Report hazards immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete required safety documentation
Customer Service
- Represent Myss Product Inc. professionally at all times
- Communicate respectfully with clients, tenants and property managers
- Maintain confidentiality while working inside occupied properties
- Protect client property from damage
- Deliver high-quality workmanship on every project
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning
- Experience with deep cleaning or post-construction cleaning is an asset
- Knowledge of floor maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Physical Requirements
Applicants should be able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Push and pull cleaning equipment
- Stand, walk and bend for extended periods
- Climb ladders safely
- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (preferred)
- Reliable transportation (preferred)
- Clean criminal record (may be required depending on client contracts)
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Flexibility to travel throughout Greater Moncton and surrounding communities
