Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Member Experience Associate to join our team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for members, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding service, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop skills in customer relations, sales, and financial transactions within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet members warmly and assist with their inquiries to ensure a positive experience
Handle member transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Manage cash management tasks such as balancing registers and processing payments efficiently
Promote membership programs and upsell additional services or products to enhance member engagement
Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and account updates
Support daily operations by maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
Provide information about services, amenities, and upcoming events to members
Address member concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall member experience

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably within financial services or similar industries
Strong cash handling and cashiering skills with attention to accuracy and detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively while maintaining a friendly approach
Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
Prior experience in financial transactions or cash management is a plus but not required
