Summary
Working from our Moncton location at 150 Henri Dunant Street and reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will be a member of our Lubricant Warehouse team. The ideal candidate is a diligent worker who can complete tasks successfully with little-to-no guidance, is computer literate, has forklift experience. SAP experience and customer service is an Asset!
Duties and responsibilities (Primary):
- Computer work- including SAP inventory management
- Focused, have extremely high attention-to-detail; comfortable with taking directions and/or change in direction of daily task
- Pick and prepare orders for customer
- Data entry and assistance with preparation of inventory
- Shipping and Receiving duties and ensure proper handling
- Operating a lift truck; move drums and totes around the warehouse
- Coordinate work with fellow workers and customers
- Carry out all orders of the supervisors
- Maintain quality in the warehouse and keep track of all damaged inventory and report the same to the supervising authorities
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area
- Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse
Duties and responsibilities (Secondary):
- Fill pails and drums with product. You will be trained on multiple pieces of equipment and once comfortable, you will rotate through the machines leading to more diversity in your day
- Be responsible for connecting hoses to manifolds on the fill equipment and operating a forklift to place product is assigned racking in the warehouse
- Operate the Large Container Cleaning machine / drum cleaning machine
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years related experience
- Excellent Attendance record
- Working Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving
- Forklift experience a must Forklift license an asset
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Customer service experience considered an asset
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Responsible and works well with others and independently
- Excels under high pressure situations
- Proven strong communication and personable nature
- Ability to load and unload 53-foot trailers with a forklift
