Resort Front Desk Receptionist / Guest Services AgentOverview

We are seeking an energetic, polished, and hospitable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our luxury resort. In this vital role, you will elevate the guest journey from arrival to departure, managing front desk operations, delivering exceptional service, and supporting administrative workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses outstanding communication skills, and brings a proactive, guest-first attitude to ensure every visitor experiences unforgettable hospitality.

Responsibilities

Guest Welcoming & Check-In: Warmly greet arriving guests, owners, and visitors, delivering an exceptional first impression and facilitating seamless check-in and check-out procedures.
Communications & Inquiries: Efficiently manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, respond to email inquiries, and route guest requests to the appropriate departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Concierge).
Reservations & Scheduling: Assist with reservation inquiries, guest activity bookings, and schedule coordination using property management software and booking tools.
Guest Relations & Support: Address guest inquiries, special requests, or concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Administrative & Financial Operations: Perform accurate data entry, process daily guest payments/folios, handle basic billing or petty cash transactions, and generate daily front-desk reports.
Document & Record Management: Maintain organized filing systems for guest profiles, registration cards, and resort documentation to ensure seamless record-keeping.
Lobby & Desk Presentation: Keep the front desk and lobby reception area immaculate, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Requirements

Hospitality Experience: Proven experience in a customer service, front desk, or administrative role, preferably within a resort, hotel, or high-end service environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and POS/billing software.
Communication & Etiquette: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor both in person and over the phone.
Multitasking & Detail Orientation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
Problem-Solving & Autonomy: Ability to handle guest situations calmly and professionally, working independently with minimal supervision to deliver solutions.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by resort operations.
