Job Summary

Le Bistro recherche un(e) chef de cuisine autonome pour assurer le service du soir. Vous serez responsable de la gestion complète de la cuisine en soirée : supervision de la brigade, qualité des plats, respect des normes d'hygiène et rythme de service. Expérience significative en cuisine exigée, avec références vérifiables. Autonomie, leadership et sang-froid en période d'achalandage sont essentiels.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Chef de Cuisine Soir to lead our evening culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in restaurant management and food preparation, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. As the Chef de Cuisine Soir, you will oversee all aspects of evening kitchen activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes and excellent food service. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for culinary excellence while fostering a positive, efficient work environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all evening kitchen activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, to promote teamwork and professional growth.
Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during dinner hours.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and control food costs to optimize profitability.
Implement innovative menu ideas aligned with current culinary trends while respecting restaurant branding.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, particularly in evening or dinner service.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of restaurant management principles including inventory control and food safety regulations.
Experience in hospitality environments with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Familiarity with bartending and serving is advantageous to support overall restaurant operations.
Excellent organizational skills paired with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
Previous restaurant experience with a focus on dinner service is highly desirable.
