Full job description

Job Title: Service Writer

Location: Parker Marine, Nanaimo

Parker Marine is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Nanaimo. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for coordinating all service activities, from scheduling to invoicing, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and provide work to service technicians
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, estimates, and updates
Prepare and submit service quotes and invoices
Ensure timely and accurate completion of service work orders
Maintain detailed and accurate service records, including customer and equipment information
Complete and submit warranty claims
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized service area

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and service management software
Experience in the marine industry is a plus
