Job Summary
South Nanaimo Wellness Centre is seeking a motivated and professional Registered Acupuncturist to join our growing multidisciplinary healthcare team in Nanaimo, British Columbia. This position offers an excellent opportunity to establish and grow your practice within a collaborative healthcare environment alongside Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing acupuncture treatments based on clients' needs and goals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Educating clients on treatment plans, self-care strategies, and wellness practices.
- Collaborating with Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support optimal client outcomes.
- Maintaining professional standards and complying with all regulatory and ethical requirements.
- Building and maintaining positive therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Contributing to a professional, welcoming, and patient-centred clinic environment.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia (CCHPBC).
- Eligibility to practice as a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and acupuncture skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in private practice is considered an asset.
