Full job description

Our firm is looking to add a Bookkeeper to our team. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work both independently and as a member of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Recording Transactions: Accurately documenting daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, receipts) in the general ledger.
Reconciliation: Reconciling bank and credit card statements to ensure records align.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Managing invoicing, payments, and tracking money owed to or by the business.
Payroll Processing: Managing payroll, including tax deductions and salary disbursements.
Reporting: Preparing monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Compliance & Tax Preparation: Assisting with tax preparation, ensuring compliance with local/federal regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is a preference.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
Accuracy & Detail: High level of attention to detail and data entry precision.
Education/Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
