Full job description

Job Title: Front Office Administrator

Reporting To: Managing Director

Location: 1849 Route 640, Hanwell Road, Fredericton, NB

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Jardine Auctioneers Inc. is a trusted, family-run business that conducts more than 100 auctions each year, specializing in automobiles, commercial vehicles, and industrial construction equipment. The company also operates a dedicated transportation division to support customer needs across New Brunswick.

As of March 2025, Jardine Auctioneers was acquired by Euro Auctions, expanding its global reach with auction facilities across four continents, while continuing to maintain its local identity.

Key Activities:

This role is essential in providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation within our office. As an Front Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, making your role pivotal in creating a positive impression of our organization.

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Handling general office duties such data entry and auction cataloguing.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
Organize and maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

The Person:

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team’s daily operations. The right candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle.
2 years’ experience in an administrative position.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communicator with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision.
Detail orientated individual with the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Criteria:

Fluent in both written and spoken French.
