As a Log Truck Driver, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that supports responsible forest management while enjoying the benefits of a local, consistent driving schedule and a strong support network.

What You’ll Do:

Operate safely and efficiently – Drive log trucks in accordance with J.D. Irving, Limited’s Best Management Practices and legal requirements.
Meet production targets – Maintain productivity and utilization goals while working independently in remote environments.
Perform inspections – Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure cargo is secure and safe for transport.
Collaborate with loaders – Work as a team with log loader operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

What We’re Looking For:

Education – High School diploma required.
Licensing – Valid Class 1 Driver’s License or equivalent.
Experience – Truck driving and woods experience is an asset.
Mechanical skills – General truck mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.
Reliability – Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
