Position SummaryThe Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of organizational processes, forms, documentation, data collection tools, and communication resources. The position supports effective information sharing across the organization by ensuring that policies, procedures, templates, reports, and other critical documents are accurate, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role enhances operational and administrative efficiency through effective document management, data integrity, standardization of practices, and clear internal and external communications.

Required Skill Set includes:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint or similar document management systems.
- Ability to analyze information and translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documents.
- Knowledge of records with proficiency in information management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Strong, professional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization as well as external bodies.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, manuals and organizational documentation, managing systems and records, creating reports and forms, as well as experience in executive leadership reporting, preparing internal and external communication while providing auxiliary support to administrative process and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Skills: Strong professional adaptability and flexibility, experienced analytical, research, and communication skills, including experience with administrative and operational systems, Microsoft Office Excel and other records management systems.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage complex initiatives, and foster an inclusive, learning-focused team culture.
Additional Requirements:
- Clear Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Child Protection Clearance Check granting clearance.
- Valid Driver’s License and clear Drivers Abstract.
- Standard First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Valid proof of ability to work in Canada.
