Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our outdoor maintenance team with a 5+ year experience. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, construction, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Prior experience with horticulture or mechanical tools is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn new skills.

Duties

Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulch, and soil preparation
Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, pruning, digging, and general maintenance
Maintain existing landscapes through mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
Support construction projects related to outdoor structures or features
Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs on equipment
Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to ensure a safe work environment

Skills

Knowledge with gardening practices, and horticulture principles
Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and construction processes
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and basic repairs
Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, drills)
Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions for extended periods
Good organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution
Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape design and maintenance

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
