Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Management Trainee to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop essential skills in business development, B2B sales, and marketing within the energy technology sector. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in driving growth, managing client relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives that advance our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of sales strategies to attract new utility and enterprise clients
Assist in identifying potential business opportunities through market analysis and outreach efforts
Engage with clients to understand their needs, presenting tailored solutions that align with their sustainability goals
Research prospective customers, decision-makers, partnerships and business opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using HubSpot or similar CRM tools
Contribute to account management efforts by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying upselling opportunities
Use OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and similar AI tools for research, content, automation and productivity
Perform routine website updates, including pages, images, forms, landing pages and product information.

Experience

Recent graduate with a diploma or degree from a recognized college or university.
Demonstrated interest or experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles is preferred
Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and customer feedback effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms is a plus
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Co-op, internship, school-project, volunteer or freelance experience will be considered.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

A confident, creative and organized recent graduate who is eager to learn, communicates professionally, takes ownership of tasks and wants to build practical experience across sales, marketing, websites, AI tools and digital operations. Training and guidance will be provided.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Work Location: Remote
