You will:
- complete financial processing reviews and reconcile financial reports.
- process and prepare documentation for a variety of financial transactions.
- review transactions for accuracy and compliance with accounting practices.
- track and monitor transactions to resolve processing issues.
- oversee Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) master file management and ensure accuracy and compliance; resolve issues and refer complex cases as needed;
- provide first-level support for EFT file queries with clear, effective communication.
- provide on-going program business improvement support to management and clients.
You have:
- knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
- ability to process financial transactions in line with corporate policies and recommend process improvements.
- knowledge of arithmetic methods to perform calculations.
- experience using computerized financial systems and spreadsheet software (e.g. Excel) to reformat and analyze data, use formulas, etc.
- ability to obtain knowledge of ministries and their programs to respond and/or redirect enquiries from managers and staff.
- You have analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and investigate discrepancies.
- You demonstrate sound judgment to assess accounts, take appropriate action, and recommend procedural improvements.
You have:
- communication and interpersonal skills to explain procedures and deal with ministry clients, staff and external suppliers.
- tact and diplomacy when communicating with client mangers and staff.
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- proven customer service skills.
