Description:
ATCO Frontec is seeking motivated, reliable individuals from the local community to support the installation of a defence technology system in the Northwest Territories. This is hands-on, outdoor work on an active construction site.
Previous experience is not required. We are primarily looking for people who are willing to work hard and be part of a team. Any general construction or basic electrical experience is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
This role also offers future opportunities for individuals who demonstrate commitment, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Important Information:
- Working on a rotation of 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 10-hour shifts per day, 6 days per week. Daily travel to and from the work site is provided, as well as meals provided on-site.
- The wage is $35/hour.
- Project completion bonus allotted to those who complete the duration of the project (May to October).
- This position is intended for local hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of antennas and cables
- Perform manual labour including material handling, site preparation, and tool support
- Follow direction from Crew Leads and Supervisors
- Work safely and follow all site safety requirements
- Contribute positively to a team environment
