Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook and become a vital part of creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience! Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and workstations by thoroughly washing and sanitizing throughout your shift
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items to support chefs and cooks
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold safety standards and hygiene regulations
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by organizing supplies and managing dishware flow efficiently
Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to keep the kitchen clean and environmentally responsible
Contribute positively to team efforts by communicating clearly and maintaining a proactive attitude in a fast-paced setting

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, food handling practices, and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently under pressure
Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
Excellent teamwork skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and colleagues alike
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality excellence
