Job Overview
Reporting to the Tasting Room Manager, the Culinary & Guest Experience Associate plays a key role in supporting Phantom Creek Estates’ food and wine program. This position is responsible for preparing and assembling food offerings, delivering dishes to guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and cleanliness. With a strong focus on consistency and guest satisfaction, this role helps ensure every culinary touchpoint enhances the overall estate experience.
Job Responsibilities
· Prepare, assemble and plate food offerings, including charcuterie boards and light culinary items, in accordance with FoodSafe and estate standards and recipes
· Serve and deliver food to guests in a timely, polished and professional manner
· Ensure all food items meet the highest quality, freshness and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen
· Maintain consistent portion sizes to uphold quality, value and cost controls
· Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and graciously to feedback or concerns, escalating issues when necessary
· Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen and food preparation areas at all times, including thorough cleaning at end of service
· Adhere to all food safety, sanitation and healthy regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures
· Collaborate closely with all teams to ensure seamless service and an exceptional guest experience
· Assist with inventory management, prep work and restocking as required
Additional duties:
· Wash, polish & restock glassware to ensure tasting room readiness
· Clear & reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming space
· Restock wine & other inventory items as needed
· Assist with guest transactions, including packing wine and preparing orders for pickup or shipping
· Provide general support to wine educators and tasting room staff during service
· Participate in setup, execution and teardown of winery events, including private tastings, dinners and seasonal celebrations
· Uphold WorkSafeBC and winery standards for cleanliness, hospitality and safety
· Perform other support duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager

Job Qualifications
· Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality, or food service is required
· Must have valid & current Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail with a commitment to quality, consistency and presentation
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
· Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take initiative and responsibility
· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
· Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings & holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
