Position overview:
The Seasonal Hospitality Support joins the hospitality team when required. Their work activities include a variety of tasks related to housekeeping, food services, campground, and special events.
Key responsibilities:
Room Attendant Support:
- Housekeeping & cleaning: cleaning of all guest rooms and public areas including: dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning appliances, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen cupboards and countertops, wiping down walls, sweeping front and outside entry areas and washing windows.
- Maintain bedding: change bed linens and replace towels
- Restock supplies: replenish guest room amenities.
- Manage waste: collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and room service trays.
- Handle lost and found: report and manage lost or forgotten items according to hotel procedures.
- Handle laundry: process kitchen and guest laundry according to procedures.
Campgrounds Support:
- Cleaning & facility maintenance: clean and restock washrooms, showers, and other communal facilities.
- Groundskeeping: perform groundskeeping duties like mowing, raking, and manage waste disposal and recycling.
- After-hours contact: act as onsite point of contact for after-hour guest needs and emergencies. During this time you will be working from the Welcome Desk.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work independently, without supervision and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining cleanliness standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly communicate with team members and the operations team
- Hands-on experience with cleaning for large organizations
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and to following health and safety protocols and guidelines
- Strong customer service in responding to guest requests
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Previous experience working in hospitality

Job Type:
Full time (35-40 hours/week) seasonal (Apr-Sep); ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and statutory holidays
Compensation:
$21-23/hour
