TF Warren Group is a premier lining, coating and rail maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. Our Rail Division is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. Must be available to work DAYS from 6am to 4pm OR AFTERNOONS from 4pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect rubber repairs on inbound and outbound rail cars; audit repairs and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Adhere to deadlines and ensure all repairs meet customer requirements, AAR and quality compliance regulations
- Administrative tasks, such as accurate time keeping, repair schedule and completion records
- Utilizing different customer databases to gather and upload information
- Be knowledgeable about a variety of documents including manufacturers’ manuals, service/preventative maintenance manuals, American Association of Railways (AAR) field manuals and government regulations
- Troubleshoot quality related issues with relevant stakeholders
- Support operations team in developing and establishing quality related procedures and work instructions
- Ensure compliance to applicable legislation, company policies, quality standards, TF Warren’s Core Values
- Other tasks as required
Essential Qualifications:
- Inspections and audit experience required; 3+ years experience in the rail car industry preferred
- Experience reading blueprints, following instructions, compliance with regulations
- Ability to work in an office, outdoors, or inside a rail tank car
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to provide recommendations on rubber repair
- Ability to comply with instruction and comprehend published rules, procedures, inspection checklists, government regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and other work-related information
- Knowledge of CFR or AAR regulations is required; coating and rubber lining knowledge are assets
- Safety and results oriented
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with co-workers and clients
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, English is required
- Experience with Microsoft applications and working computer knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to enter a Confined Space and comfortable going inside of a railcar
- Must be able to Work at Heights
- Comfortable working in an industrial facility that performs abrasive blasting and coatings
- Able to work indoor and outdoor in varying weather conditions
- Must have CSA approved safety boots and wear provided respirator, eye protection, hearing protection and hard hat
